In a recent post, I wrote about the art work recently installed at 170 Off Third located at 177 Townsend. In addition, one of my colleagues recently wrote about the loft condominium project located at 1234 Howard Street designed by Stanley Saitowitz who also designed 855 Folsom. Saitowitz will be at an open house at the property on November 15th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. to discuss his design for the building. Art work from SFMOMA has recently been installed in the building
In the Tuesday, November 6th edition of the San Francisco Chronicle, Jesse Hamlin wrote about the 5,000-square foot textured glass mural that will wrap around three sides of the new 22-story SoMa Grand condominium tower on Mission Street between 7th and 8th Streets. This tower is next to the new Thom Mayne designed Federal Building. As required by local planning law, 1 percent of the construction cost has to be used for art.
