One Rincon Hill Tower II

In its weekend real estate section, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on One Rincon Hill Tower II.  Groundbreaking for the development's second tower is planned for early 2008 with initial pre-sales antiicpated in the second quarter and occupancy in 2010.  There will be 292 homes in Tower II.

A little Sunday soiree

The newest conversion project in SOMA is hosting its official opening this Sunday, October 21. One South Park, located at the corner of Second @ South Park, is throwing open the doors to its 35-unit building for a reception from 1-5 PM. Prices start in the low $700,000 range (which means we're looking at close to $1000 a square foot, at least for the smallest units). A few units are already in contract. Remember, on your first visit to the sales office of a new building, be sure to go with your agent.

Condo Tower Site 375-399 Fremont

In  a recent edition of the San Francisco Business Times, J.K. Dineen and Ryan Tate reported that the Chicago based developer, Fifield, has put its condo tower site at 375-399 Fremont Street on the market.  This parcel is entitled for 393 units.  The site is located close to Harrison Street and the One Rincon Tower.

The company has said that it is in negotiation with several builders.  However, the property has not been sold.

A 20 story residential building with 59 units has also been approved for 325 Fremont Street.

Turnberry Associates is preparing to begin digging at 45 Lansing, a nearby site, for 227 units.

The Infinity Tower 2

In the September 21 to 27 issue of the San Francisco Business Times, J.K. Dineen wrote that Tishman Speyer, the developer of the 656 unit Infinity, has started building the second tower.  He reported that the sales offices will be located in the first tower and will include two fully furnished model units.
